Newport Homes offers a custom design service for home buyers wishing to make changes in one of our standard plans or wishing to design a custom home from scratch.
How It Works
The buyer wishing to design a custom home will work with a Newport Homes sales representative in developing a line drawing of the home they desire. This may require two or three visits before the design meets the buyer's requirements. Your Newport Homes representative will spend the time necessary to develop a plan to your liking. Rough costs will be provided to you as the plan is developed and changed.
The Best Part
Once your design is ready, the Newport Homes architect and the builder will review your plan for engineering and building code compatibility and double check pricing developed with the sales representative. If you decide to drop the project at this point, there is no cost or obligation.

Who will you be working with? You will work with a real estate broker and/or sales person who is representing the builder and is trained to guide you and answer your questions during the planning phase. The broker or salesperson will assist you in lot selection, floor plan development, and in choosing fixtures, amenities, and colors. The Newport Homes representative will provide valuable advice for obtaining the best financing for your new home.
